Myself, Minaxi Purohit, I work for children welfare for the past 10 years. In the Ahva Dang region of the Gujarat state, I work for the well-being of the tribal girls studying in government schools. My work includes arranging seminars for menstrual hygiene, food procurement and management, cloth distribution, organizing Navratri festival celebrations and so on. Not only that, the patrons like to donate books, clothes, stationery items or sometimes movies for these children on their various occasions like birthdays, anniversaries etc. My job is to arrange all these for the children.
I happened to give my services to various organizations such as orphanages, old age homes and even the Blind People Association. I have tried to support girls' hostels by providing bedsheets, fans and even minute but much-required things. With them, I did celebrate various Indian festivals such as Uttarayan, Holi, Navratri, Dassera, Diwali and Children's Day. Alwada Village of Dhanera Taluka, district Banaskantha, first-ever seminar on menstrual hygiene and sanitary pads awareness took place under my leadership.
Such little but impactful activities inspired me to walk down the path of 'Seva' and march forward in life by doing such good deeds.
